Well drained of oil?: Yes
Satisfied?: Yes - I feel full and couldn't finish.

Comments: Very generous quantity of chips and the fish was a decent size. While adequately drained of oil I feel like fats from other foods had been absorbed into my fish and chips which gave them a faint wonton flavor. The chips started off crispy with a creamy center but became hard and plasticky as they cooled. I suspect their fryer may be at a v high heat as the edges of the fish were crunchy and dry. The batter to fish ratio was spot on and the cut of fish was tasty/meaty. For what I payed and how much food I got, these were quite ok economy grade fish and chips. Post consumption mouth feel is slightly waxy.

Well drained of oil?: No
Satisfied?: I feel full but greasy.

Comments: Very generous serving, too much for me to cram in. Chips have a nice crispy exterior and creamy center, however the lack of seasoning and lack of oil drainage let them down - very lightly salted. Fish was a great size and the batter was nice and thinly applied which didn't lead to batter fatigue but it was obviously quite a cheap floury cut and very oily. I am feeling well fed with no waxy mouth feel so overall they were alright!

Satisfied?: Yes - I feel full and I don't feel gross.

Comments: Great fish and chips! Massive fish and was delicious (type unknown). Would be 5/5 but found a bone. Chips were crispy and creamy in middle. Again would have given 5/5 but some were burnt. Bonus extras of lemon pepper seasoning, cutlery and slice of lemon. Overall great fish and chips - no waxy mouthfeel.
